Here is one of my favourite cakes. I had a lot of fun working wiith such beautiful vibrant colours, and enjoyed making all the different sugar flowers, ivy, butterflies, bees and ladybirds. I wanted to create a design reminiscent of a summer garden, adding the big frilly peony on top for a focal point. I have since re-created the cake for another birthday and will be making it again soon as a 3 tiered wedding cake, so it’s proving very popular, hope you like it.
