One of my most popular designs for weddings and christenings is this beautiful lace birdcage. I particularly love the combination of the gentle pastel green with the antique white icing of this recent wedding cake. It features my speciality handcrafted sugar roses as so many of my designs do. The edible lace is Sugarveil, an absolutely wonderful invention as it is so versatile, this pattern is called Fantasy and lends itself well to being moulded into the shape of the birdcage. The cake was a resounding success and everyone at the wedding loved it!
