Ferdinand is a pony owned and loved by Emilie. She learnt to ride on ‘Ferdi’ years ago and has now unfortunately outgrown him. Her Mum explained to me that ‘Ferdi’ was moving on to pastures new soon so thought Emilie would like a horse themed cake. I suggested a Ferdi’s head and I am really pleased with how it turned out. It was hand carved, sculpted from madeira cake and then airbrushed.
