I have a great appreciation for Law Enforcement Officers, who put their lives on the line, daily. I am married to one. This is a cake my husband asked me to make for a fellow officer who was retiring after 30 years on the job. The patch, is for the Sheriff’s Office of Dare County, N.C. It is all in fondant and it was all done free hand. The Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, the Wright Brother’s Memorial and the Elizabeth II, all landmarks in Dare County, were painted free hand, with Americolor gels and vodka.
This was a gift for Leary, and for the Law Enforcement Officers, who celebrated with him today.
This design could be adapted to any first responders such as: Fire Fighter, Police Officer, E.M.T, Nurse, National Park Service etc…All this agencies where a patch on their sleeve.
Psalm 127:1 Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain.
