A lego Star Wars cake featuring a floating 3D lego Millennium Falcon, and duel between Yoda and Darth Vader (the fight that never happened – no offence, Star Wars fans). Cake is dark choc mudcake, figurines are fondant sugarpaste.

Hello Mrs Robinson, and thanks! there’s a tutorial on cake central for the lego millennium falcon that i found helpful. And i think what saved me loads of time was making a fondant mould of the lego – i used old fondant with cmc to get an imprint off my daughter’s flat lego base (those flat sheets you build things on), then used that as a mold to make my lego pieces. I worked of pics of the model that i got off the internet, and that’s about it. Hope this helps, and look forward to seeing the finished product next week! :D
