Birthday cake for my daughter’s birthday which was a masquerade theme party. Mask is made from fondant with tylose, then covered in edible leaf. Then decorated with royal icing with lustre dust. Feathers are not edible, everything else is. My first time using edible leaf, boy, I give a high five to guys that use it, very difficult to get right, so brittle. Caramel mud cake and choc mud cake. Ganached then covered in caramel buttercrem. Double barrel.
Thanks for looking, loved doing this, brought out the creative monster in me. Lol last photo was at party my daughter Melanie is on the left.

Oh my this mask is gorgeous, the colour icing goes really well with it. Never used edible leaf but believe it is hard to handle.

Thanks Chris, yes I found it hard to do the edible leaf, had to do 1 layers of it, made it an expensive creation. :-)
