This cake was my very first coverture chocolate panel cake.
I made this cake for my school friends wedding which took place in Sydney NSW. I pre bakes the cakes and froze them, carrying them on board with me frozen from the Gold Coast, they defrosted over night and I decorated the cake the morning of the wedding with ganache and the chocolate panels I had made the evening before.
I was lucky enough to find the red roses at a local florist, this was probably my biggest concern.
It was a great experience, I learned a lot in a short amount of time.
