My sister in law’s 50th birthday couldn’t pass by without a cake! But time was tight so I opted for something that would look attractive whilst being simple.

The board icing is in fact the same colour as the plaque on the top tier but for some reason it looks darker in the picture.

I used swiss meringue buttercream for this one but it made it difficult to transport because it didn’t ‘set’ like buttercream does.
