Vintage Dusky Rose Wedding Cake ~

This is my last cake of the year – a wedding cake for a friend. It was a monster! The cakes are almost 6inches high and the entire cake weighed about 25kgs! These are also the largest roses I have ever made! I am still learning to cover cakes and sharp edges and these were a real challenge to cover with one piece of fondant!

Thanks for looking and to all who have followed and favourited my work – I feel very humbled – this year has been a huge learning curve – as I have been challenged and pushed beyond what I thought I was capable of! I have surprised myself and learnt so much. I am so happy to be doing something that brings joy to others and for me to fulfill my passion. I feel blessed and humbled to be on the same stage as all the Iconic designers and artists out there. To everyone – a very Happy New Year 2014 – may it be filled with happiness, love, health, wealth, peace and all that you wish for!
