I decorated several Christmas cakes this year but I had one rich fruit cake left over after the others were done and had intended just to decorate it with nuts. At the last minute I changed my mind and this is the result. It will be winging its way to Japan on Boxing Day to be enjoyed for the new year’s celebrations there. It’s probably the simplest of my Christmas cakes this year but it’s also my favourite. :) x
