Happy birthday, Mom!

I made this sweet sewing machine out of fondant/gumpaste for my mom, who was an excellent seamstress in her younger days. The vanilla-chocolate marble cake was the case underneath. She turned 94 years young!

I’m so glad you all liked it – I wasn’t sure if I could pull it off, but I really wanted to do this for my mom – so I gave it a try!

After the dinner, I was kind of sad when we had to throw it away – I had gotten kind of attached to it – LOL!
