I make so many cakes, but rarely any time for one for the family, so I made this for my husband as in celebration of our 21st wedding anniversary.

This was the first time I had tried the technique ‘onlays’, and I decided to ‘love’ them up a bit, with the addition of hearts in the ‘spaces’.
