This is the cake I made for my cousin’s wedding. She wanted an elegant, yet rustic cake and lots of flowers, so I made gerberas, astromelias, rose buttons and I learnt how to make cala lillies from a tutorial :). I spent over a month making these flowers, but I loved every minute of it!
I also added some ruffles that I painted with a little brown petal dust to give it that rustic feel my cousin wanted.
By the way, I didn’t make the bride and groom. My cousin had them made out of cold porcelain to keep them as souvenir :)
