Began learning about decorating when i was going through treatments for breast cancer about 26 yrs ago. I have battled breast cancer back and forth for a long time. Though the treatments, I lost the feeling in my hands and feet. Doctors recommended I pick up hobbies and interests that use my hands. I tried many but loved cake decorating. A year ago I learned about gum paste & fondant. I have fallen in love with making sugar paste flowers. It just fits me like nothing else ever has-"it soothes the savage beast inside of me" I just love it!! Recently, I started losing my eyesight. Not sure how or what I am going to do if I lose it completely. For those of you who sharing your talents, THANK YOU! Its wonderful to see all of the creative ideas!! Even better when I get to try them.
