I’ve never tried it for covering a cake, just for making models. It is strong enough and rolls thinly, but I believe it woud set up a little to hard for covering a cake. How about Saracino’s Pasta Top, which I believe is like fondant.

Thank you, Sandra. I like the way the Saracino paste rolls out thin and doesn’t crack at the folds. It’s so study and easy to handle. That’s why I thought about using it for covering a cake. I recently used Renshaw red fondant and it too elastic and cracked on the edges. I may try Pasta Top, but I just love Saracino Paste to work with.
