I fell into cake decorating during one of bored Facebook stalking sessions.i saw these beautiful cakes done by cake artists (as i call them) and thought i could do this.i went and got a few supplies started to bake& decorate.
Once i moved to trivandrum after my wedding,and in between baking to impress my new family and friends i found myself loving what i do.It was this amazing combination of my education in architecture and my passion during baking and art. Cake Architect as my dear friend described it. Not much after that thought,Anna Bakes took shape. I designed a logo and found myself placing orders for cake boxes and cake boards and my hubster showing off to people the cakes i did.
Every cake is a new experience for me and i try to do something new every time.i am still exploring new techniques,learning the basics and trying to perfect them.
I see my customers' joy at being given a cake that they have ordered for someone they love,i love it when kids have their eyes pop out to see their favorite character s in edible forms.i feel there is nothing like customized gifts because it has been uniquely made for them.
