Alright - blame it on my sweet tooth, uncontrollable daydream imagination and thorough enjoyment from a young age baking with my grandmother but I LOVE baking, creating and seeing the look on people faces when they receive something that is made just for them.
Although from a young age I was an artistic creative, crafty type of girl who enjoyed baking for her family. It wasn’t until doing an A level in Food and Nutrition and creating my own sugar crafted “Snowman” Christmas cake I realised that my skills in Designing, Baking and Daydreaming could all be combined and I began dreaming in sugar designs. From this point onwards I would always make family and friends cakes for all occasions in simple but yet effective self taught designs.
Sugar Dream Cakes is based in Henlow, Bedfordshire and specialises in designing and creating delicious celebration and novelty cakes and cake toppers for all occasions including weddings, birthdays and simple thank you’s.
This my opportunity to do something I am passionate about and enjoy and the opportunity to put smiles on peoples faces. By day, I work with people and by night, I work with cakes.
I offer an assortment of your favourite flavours all made from scratch; each cake is designed with you and your favourite cake dreams in mind to match your personality and celebration.
The cakes I produce are designed and tailored to suit customer’s individual requirements. Please browse through the gallery for inspiration or if you have an original design in mind, I’m sure I can re-create it for you. I also offer a local delivery service for customers that are unable to collect their cakes.
