Just a short little story about how I began my venture into cake decorating:
I am a second generation cake artist. My mother did cakes while I was growing up and I would help her mix frosting colors and of course lick the spoons when she finished her cake orders for the day. My mother kept her little cake business going all through the years. She taught me everything about her cake decorating style, her creative processes, tricks, and her secret recipes for cakes and especially the frosting. I dabbled in doing cakes here and there throughout my life, mostly for family and friends, and cake orders for a few customers. I have focused more over the last couple of years on building my own cake business into a full time endeavor. I thoroughly enjoy, and I am very passionate about, the process of creating a cake from beginning to end and I love the big smiles and happy taste buds that go with it! My decorating style is classic using buttercream icing and piping techniques, which is my preferred medium for overall taste and esthetics. Now remember everyone: βEat Cake!β π°π
