I kind of stumbled into cake decorating. I had an idea that I would attempt to make my husband a fathers day cake. Just testing my skills out and soon realised i didn't have any 😊
The cake was inedible and the decor wasn't too great either.
I thought it was fun thing to do, so just started to make for family and friends and realised that my skills were improving.
That was 4 years ago!
Wow, I have to pinch my self sometimes and wonder who made the cakes I created, seems a bit unreal sometimes.
I absolutely love my job even the days that don't go too well.
I get a great sense of satisfaction seeing my cakes go to happy customers.
I would just like to say hello to all those fellow cake decorators out there and hope I can learn some new skills from you all. X
