Having majored mostly in commerce and business & after completing my masters from Said Business School, Oxford University, I joined Deloitte in London, worked there for a few years, moved back home to work with international brands on various strategic aspects; brands like Calvin Klein, French Connection, Guess, Nautica, Accessorize,Debenhams, Bose & Next to name a few; and has opened over 150 retail outlets across the country.
A sportsman, foodie at heart & after 10 years of working across these sectors, and making a ton of money for corporates! My avid passion for good, well-priced food and the lack thereof got
to the better of me and is largely the inspiration behind my new venture - G's Patisserie. I decided to succumb to my fabulous sense of smell (or the serious lack thereof!) and bake! (Which is a miracle coz I lost my ability to smell due to a sports injury).
G's Patisserie was founded 9 months ago, we opened our first store 6 months ago after an extensive 3 month research & product sampling to better understand the Indian consumer, the forte of our business is essentially cupcakes as well as celebration cakes. We won the award for the best new bakery recently as well, which validated that we are headed on the right path to introduce & revolutionize the bakery & confectionary segment in India.
