I am a 64yr old retired newsagent who has discovered a love of cake baking and decorating. I bake for friends and family.
I enjoy creating sugar flowers and see this as an extension of my love of gardening. I did not see myself as a model maker, but as a lot of my cakes are for children I am getting better through practice!
