Hello, my name is Cathryn. I have been making specialty cakes for just the past year. I always enjoyed making cakes in the past, but after finding out about fondant and sugar paste, I am hooked. I have had several surgeries on both arms/wrists do to a genetic deformity, and had to quit doing enjoyable hobbies such as needlepoint. With fondant and gum paste, it is sheer pleasure.
I'm excited to be joining your group, enjoy viewing all the imaginative, creative minds!!!!
I've just posted the cakes I've done this past year, giving to friends and family. I feel like they are more of a gift for me, as it sparks my creativity and brings joy to me to see the smiles of appreciation for the work that I accomplished.
