Algarve Cakes

I am Helen and I started Algarve Cakes in January 2012, I was designing cakes in the UK as a hobby, but after moving to the Algarve I decided to start up a cake business here, and I love it! I did NVQ level 2 Hospitality and catering in front and back of house, also level 2 in back of house, culinary french, a bakery course and I also did a licences course through my old job in the UK. I have always loved making cakes following after my mum. I am self taught, also learning the odd technique of my mum.
