Alcina graduated in Chemical Engineering in 1998 and specialized in Quality Control in Food Industry, what she always loved.
This area had great influence in her professional profile, being a person of rules, rigorous and professional.
Her professional growth has gone through different areas, but after 15 years she discovered her true passion: Cake Design!
She did some workshops, but the will to improve and evolve in this area was huge, which made her join the Professional Cake design Course at Academia Profissional de Cake Desigg where she finds her way! She specializes in the sugar flowers and ceremonial cakes. She's now a tutor of sugar flowers of the Certificate Professional Cake Design Course at the Academia Profissional de Cake Design, in Portugal.
