Massa timing tropic – carma
I make my own Martina with Liz Marek’s recipe. A combo of homemade & purchased fondant. Works really well, and tastes great. I tweaked by adding a small amount of white chocolate….think about 1/4 cup. Here’s the recipe:

Most certainly you can find it online… but as I’m not in Ireland, I don’t know how close to you that you’ll find it.

I’ve been making my own marshmallow fondant. It’s easy and tastes great =)
I’m a total Sugarpaste Direct convert, it’s amazing stuff.
Thanks for all of your help guys :) I had a look at the lmf fondant and I think I will give that ago first x
Vizyon is by all means the best sugar paste I’ve worked with..
Try it.
I’m anther Sugarpaste Direct convert – also like Squires own – they are very similar.

LuciaG, Your right.. I thought it would be costly but I found it in just 10 euro per a kilo..
I love Squire’s, has a beautiful finish, but am tempted to try Sugar Paste Direct based on these comments.
I really don’t like carma massa at all, I know I am in the minority, but I found it grainy and sticky. I felt a wave of horror when I first voiced this, but a few have told me they found the same.

I don’t think you will regret trying Sugarpaste Direct Roo if you like Squires – I think it is slightly better but I like Squires for some of the delicate colours. Interesting what you say about carma massa – just bought a small pack of Ivory to try out.

I am in the minority, I know Judy, you may well love it. Definitely ordering sugarpaste direct, great price too.

I use store bought mixed with modelling chocolate. I love it because it’s so flexible and so easy to work with. I get really sharp and clean lines. I live in Iowa, so winters are incredibly dry and summer unbearablyou humid. Modelling chocolate makes it so much easier to work with. I have used white modelling chocolate with Wilton White Decorator Fondant, or if I need brown or black the I make up dark chocolate modelling chocolate mixed in with store bought
