I was looking for a new idea for a christmas cake I had to do for the Italian magazine Cake Design, and each year it’s more difficult to find something different!! So I thougt that instead of the classic dried Christams Log (the traditionnal french cake) it would be more original to get vertical logs, as I remenbered I saw in a boutique of Paris (it was a Christmas light for a table), and here is the result of this quite simple cake to do.
The tutorial is published on Cucina Chic Cake Design, n.23 (november 2013).
