This is my entry for this year’s NC State Fair – I’m entering the “decorated for wedding” category :) My mind was made up in regards to my design when I tried my hand at making gum paste dogwood blossoms – and they actually resembled dogwood blossoms lol! I’d really been wanting to try another technique for ruffles too – got to have a lot of fun trying new things with this cake!

It turned out so gorgeous Becky! Your dogwood flowers are so lovely! Did you use a 5 pedal flower cutter to do your scrunch ruffles? They turned out so beautiful!
