Mountain rescue cake
I had the honour to prepare this cake to celebrate 30 years of activity of the locale mountain rescue association. I just can admire people voluteering, sometimes risking their own lives, and dedicating time to saving live through rescue and mountain safety education. The logo is freehand painted and the whole cake is edible. For the helicopter blades I used some gelatine sheets which I cut and sticked on black fondant. It was a surprise for the 70 people who gathered last Sunday for the dinner and it was a real success!!! Only the helicopter has been saved in memory of the evening. Thank you for reading and looking!
