This is my first wedding cake I had the honor of making for my niece. It was 3-tiers with each tier having 3 layers, strawberry cake. Filled with strawberry buttercream, then covered with vanilla buttercream. The roses were made from homemade gumpaste using Nicholas Lodge’s tylose gumpaste recipe, and hand cut without the use of flower cutters and sprayed with a pearl luster to give them an ivory sheen. I am very proud of this cake, it is by God’s Grace that I am able to do this and all the Glory is His.
