Today is our Anniversary (49 happy years) I made a very small (4 inches) 5 layers gluten free coconut flavor birdcage cake since it was just for the two of us and my daughter. Covered in fondant with gum paste flowers. I made a birdcage because it was significant to me ! Because of Covid-19 last year we were locked in and were forced to celebrated at home. This year it’s different, we’re vaccinated and able to go out to a restaurant to celebrate because they are now open.
The two little birds outside the cage reflect that.
