An 8” vanilla sponge cake with a RKT and fondant model of Wheezy, the combine harvester, from Tractor Tom. This was for a farmer’s son who was turning four and his face was a picture when they came to collect it. The model is entirely edible except for the horizontal rods that are part of the reel on the header.

Ii is all made from RKT, (rice krispie treats). I like working with them as they mould well and firm up nicely. I used Tylo powder in the fondant to help get a nice firm finish. The horizontal blades were made from cake pop sticks painted silver. Hope that helps.
