Mickey first birthday cake

This was huge 1st birthday cakefor a lucky little chap. It was 8” and 10” vanilla sponges filled with raspberry jam and vanilla buttercream. Mickey and the little present were made entirely from RKT and fondant as my customer wanted to keep them. The ears were a big challenge, but I learnt a lot! There was a hushed silence as my customers watched me assemble the cake and everyone was thrilled with it, including the birthday boy.
