So, this was my very first trial on a male full-body modelling with sugarpaste. I was really excited to create a sculpture. Finally a nice and intrigating modelling request after many months!
But it turned out far more complicated than I had expected, especially without a 3d model to look at for the muscles and for the correct posture.
In the end it was a nice and interesting experience, although it will probaly remain a rare opportunity to work on a body sculpture.

The modelling is inspired/copied from Rodin’s masterpiece “The Thinker” for an 18th birthday cake for a young introvert man who loves reading and was about 12 " high.
