In Asia, most Asians are quite superstitious to having a black element in their wedding, especially the Chinese community. So, I was really glad when my friend agreed to having a chalkboard cake for his wedding, which is something I have always wanted to do. Since his theme was also “Cinderella/fairytale” wedding, we decided to have a princess carriage topper and added a few wafer paper flowers. Here’s the cake at the venue:
