Proudly presenting my first Wedding Cake – " Dulhan -The Bride". Some months back, when my friend said I am making her wedding cake – never in my mind I thought that she was serious. I haven’t slept properly for last couple of weeks. Is there a word in dictionary called Cakomania? I used to see weird dreams of cake falling down, cake not getting ready on the D-Day so and so. A few years back, I was a person who was scared to even touch oven :) .I really admire the perseverance and dedication of cake decorators who do beautiful and huge wedding cakes on a regular basis.

This four tier cake was designed to match the color of Bride’s outfit. She wanted a colorful pink and golden cake and this is what I have come up with.Not mentioning the number of sleepless nights I have had. Tried my hands on wafer paper roses for the first time and I am loving it. It is so easy compared to the gumpaste ones. Thanks to Violet and Dina for all the wafer paper tricks and tips.

An expert can find lot of faults in this cake , but I am really proud of this one.:) I was in love with her. What about you?
