Hi Everyone I’d love to share my contribution to the “Walk on the Wild Side” sugar shoe collaboration which was organized by Heba!!!

I wanted to make something fun and playful- when researching shoes online I came across a striking image of a ‘drizzle effect’ Jelly Shoe in stiletto form and I immediately wanted to recreate the structure using chocolate. I created two versions of the shoe, A white chocolate version, which my 3 year old consumed and then a hot pink candy melt version. The white chocolate version was my prototype and more of a platform style (a little more crazy drizzle effect) and the pink candy melt version looks a little more refined. I created 4 separate pieces, the heel, sole and then each side of the shoe was created separately by drizzling melted chocolate over a boot form, refrigerated and then carefully removed and welded together with more drizzled chocolate to create a singular piece. It makes for a delicate piece of footwear. I would have loved to have gotten more styled photos but I took the shoes outside to get better lighting

in 90 degree weather and it melted. Haha. I think these chocolate shoes would make great bridal shower gifts or favors- Birthday Party centerpieces as they are fun and relatively simple to make.
