Vintage Coca-Cola Cake

Cake by Three Little Blackbirds posted 329 days ago 814 views 8 times favorited 6 comments Add to Favorites

This cake traveled over 1200 miles during 16 hours from Denver, Colorado to the Chicago, IL area just to be a part of a 90th birthday party for a very special lady.

She was in the Navy and also worked for Coca-Cola for many years and both of those memories were very near and dear to her heart. I kept the cake rather simple to achieve a vintage feel and also because of the distance it had to travel.

I hand-painted a likeness of her when she was in the Navy in her younger years, drinking a Coca-Cola, of course!

The cake sits on an authentic vintage Coca-Cola crate.

Flavors were: Gourmet Vanilla, White Chocolate Coconut Key Lime, and Gourmet PB&J (triple berry buttercream and peanut butter buttercream)
