This cake was made for my dear Mom back in February. I had a wonky neck/back thing happening, so I had to keep things pretty simple, but sometimes simple turns out so much better than you thought it would!
I made some free form wafer roses blah blah months ago, dusting lightly with yellow petal dust and the tips dusted pink. Most of my Mom’s cakes are purple, her favourite colour, so I used it as a wrap around the ganache, added a bit of “trim” with wafer paper and a craft punch and a few wafer leaves.
