DRAG QUEEN CAKE. I AM DIVINE

DRAG QUEEN CAKE. I AM DIVINE
DRAG QUEEN CAKE. I AM DIVINE

Made for a live auction of our Rainbow Community Centers annual crab feed tomorrow night. Divine was a 300 pound drag queen who was featured in several John Waters films. The figurine is made of 50/50 paste. Since she isn’t meant to be eaten I used Maribou feathers on her head and crystal ribbons. The cakes are red velvet and pound cakes sculpted into a corset shape.

Forgot to say I used Carlos Lischetti’s “Moulin Rouge” figure as inspiration.
