The clients came with an open mind with regards to the design of the cake and browsed through some of my previous design and then stopped at this particular one I had created a few years ago. The original version was all in white, but wanting to personalise it, I recommended we incorporate their theme colour of peach into the cake. The rims of over 50 large blossom peach flowers were hand painted with gold paint to highlight the flower and add depth. The tiers were entirely covered with over 100 small white blossom flowers. The centres of the flowers were filled with royal icing dots and then painted over with gold.
