Very simple for an elderly gentleman who just loves reading. I thought this would be so simple to do but actually was quite tricky getting the top piece of fondant exactly right. I made the slippers using Verusca Walker’s tap shoe template which she very kindly share here on cakesdecor . It’s a great shape for a mans shoe and can just be adjusted to make different types of shoes – saved me so much time – a big thank you to Verusca who is so generous with her knowledge .
