I was asked to create a woodland fairy themed cake for a wedding, cake. This sort of cake I love making. It was made over the course of 5 days. Making all the little toad stools, flowers, bumble bees, ladybirds and lots of grass. One I had painted blades of grass on the sides of the cakes, I then started to add bits of grass, and then airbrushed around the bases too. I then started to add all the little bits n bobs, fairies were added by the fairy doors, last to add was the buzzing on wires bees and butterflies. The cakes were a 10" 8" and 6"…..chocolate on the bottom, middle tier was mango & passion fruit and top tier was raspberry & white chocolate.
