Mother's Day Ruffles & Pearls

My first two-tier cake!!! Vanilla bean, with white chocolate ganache and fondant decorations. Had a bit of a time with the pearls – a little wonky :-(. Base is two 6" stacked, second tier is two stacked 4". Small cake for a small gathering. Happy Mother’s Day!!

Wow! This is stunning! How long did it take you to make all the little fondant balls for the top tier? They are aligned so perfectly!!

Thanks all! Roxie, I used this mold. The petals were very time consuming – wasn’t about to roll each pearl separately. That is time spent making another cake :-)!
