Japanese Wedding Cake

Japanese Wedding Cake

This cake was also created when I was still a student in Bonnie Gordon College, Toronto. I got Japanese theme for my wedding cake assignment. The top tier represents ikebana (Jap. flower arrangement), with red tsubaki or camellia flower which means love in Jap. culture and golden fan origami. Middle tier represents obi & obijime (sash) of a kimono, and I did Japanese pattern hand painting for the bottom tier.
