I put in this cake in the local club Christmas Cake competition 2013. The flowers shown here were all Australian natives: Wattle, Grevillea, pea flowers, paper daisies, NSW Christmas bush, Eucalyptus leaves and Australian Christmas tree. The vase was a fruit cake covered with marzipan and fondant, and then hand painted.
