This was a fairly easy cake to make, but it makes a big impact. And for groom’s cakes, they are selling like hotcakes (for me anyway). I have another one on the books and 2 more quoted as of now.
The flavors of this cake were inspired by the “Irish Car Bomb” drink. There’s Guinness stout in the chocolate cake, Jameson whiskey in the ganache, and Bailey’s Irish cream in the buttercream.
The picture may not reflect it, but this is a pretty big cake, with 14 and 16-inch “tiers”.
