Two Tiered Christening cake

The top tier of this Christening cake had been the top tier of a wedding cake and needed some straightening out before being reiced and stacked on top of a simple vanilla sponge. Instead of a baby theme it was decided that the topper should be a bouquet of pale pink roses with petals cascading down the sides. This was one of the first cakes I made for a client and it shocked me how well it looked when it was finished.
