Hi. I have made two of these cakes and both went together really well. Do not stress too much about stacking the cakes. Depending on the type of stacking system you use, you should be able to put it together with ease. I use the Wilton plates with the pillars for all of my cakes. If you want to have it spiraled like the photo, just be sure to pay close attention to how you insert the pillars for the next stacked tier. A few tips I learned were…. 1. to put the ganache in a squeeze bottle to apply it to the cake, 2. remember to start your draping from the bottom, 3. be sure to ask about the type of cake topper they have. If it’s a pick type of topper, then it will go on with ease, but if the topper has a base, you will need to be sure to leave a flat surface on top so it sits level. (learned that one after my first cake). Good luck!
