I got that particular printer on offer at Curry’s for £49, it may be worth searching for offers online. I then bought compatible refillable cartridges, containing edible ink, on eBay and replaced the existing cartridges. I found this saved me a fair amount of money. As long as you use the printer from new with only the edible ink it will be fine.
