re: Using Black Fondant

Hi Julie, I have only had to cover a cake with black fondant twice and it wasn’t as bad as I thought. I did roll out on icing sugar but I used it sparingly. Then once the fondant had set on the cake, to bring it back to its sparkling black self, I sparingly rubbed Trex all over it, just enough to give it a little sheen and voila, the Trex soaks right in over night.
